Lodi Skydiver Killed In Collision With Big Rig!

Yesterday we reported that I-5 south of Sacramento was closed due to an overturned cheese truck (which is apparently a thing), but today’s story is considerably more somber…if not even weirder.

KCRA 3 reports that “A skydiver was killed Thursday after a collision with a big rig on Highway 99 in the Lodi area, authorities said.”

According to CHP, the skydiver took off from Lodi Parachute Center, and somehow collided with the big rig around 2:15pm. It’s not clear if the skydiver landed on the highway, or on the truck. Either way…a really bizarre and sad story.
