Sunday is National Potato Day! What? Cool. And a survey of our unwavering LOVE for French Fries and potato chips finds less than 1% of us DON’T like fries. It’s the one thing even the pickiest kid will eat.
8 out of 1,000 people surveyed say they don’t like them. So, what’s our favorite kind of fry? Overall, people say curly fries are their favorite, followed by standard cut, waffle fries, potato wedges, sweet potato fries, crinkle cut, shoestring fries and tater tots (are tots considered fries?)

- Our favorite brand of potato chips is Lay’s with 33% of the vote, followed by Pringles and Ruffles.
- Fries are our favorite way to eat potatoes, but just barely. Mashed potatoes were a close second, followed by baked potatoes, has browns, and potato salad.
