Lady Gaga and Harry Styles are set to host next year’s Met Gala! The exhibition will be titled “Camp: Notes on Fashion” after Susan Sontag’s famous essay, “Notes on ‘Camp.'”
“We are going through an extreme camp moment,” wrote Andrew Bolton, curator of the Costume Institute, reports Nylon. “And it felt very relevant to the cultural conversation to look at what is often dismissed as empty frivolity but can be actually a very sophisticated and powerful political tool, especially for marginalized cultures.”

Additional co-chairs for the 2019 Met Gala include Serena Williams, Anna Wintour, and Gucci’s Alessandro Michele. Can’t wait to see the looks on the red carpet, especially because the theme is more abstract.
