The Jerry Springer Show may be ending, but his time on TV is still going strong. In fact, he’s already coming out with a new show called Judge Jerry!

According to ET Online, the new show appears to be similar to other court shows like Judge Judy or The People’s Court. In it, Springer will listen to testimony and deliver a final verdict in front of a studio audience.

For those who didn’t know, Jerry Springer actually has a Juris Doctor degree and worked at a law firm prior to his television career. He said in a statement:

“For the first time in my life, I am going to be called honorable. My career is coming full circle and I finally get to put my law degree to use after all these years.”

Unfortunately, if you want to watch Judge Jerry, you’ll have to wait for when it airs in 2019. However, fans of The Jerry Springer Show can still catch new episodes as the air on The CW. Springer explained that even though the show ended production, there’s still a backlog of episodes that have yet to air. He further stated:

“A deal has been made with The CW and so our show will be on in most cities twice a day. It will be mostly from the shows we’ve done, so every once in a while you’ll be seeing shows where I look a lot younger.”
