John Mayer Recovering From Emergency Surgery

Fans were concerned when John Mayer was rushed to the hospital December 5 for an emergency appendectomy.
The singer showed his appreciation on Twitter to all the love and well wishes he received.
Thank you everyone for the well wishes. Had surgery yesterday and woke up to see some amazingly kind and loving tweets. I’m so sorry that we couldn’t finish out the last few dates of the tour. This band and these shows mean the world to me. Love you all dearly. ⚡️♥️⚡️

Gladly, he seems to be doing fine post-operation and is maintaining his sense of humor with a post he made on Instagram of him in a hospital gown with the caption, “still got it.”
