Jet Blue Flight Crew Uses Oxygen Mask To Save Dog During Flight

She was having difficulty breathing and her tongue began to turn blue

Flight attendants on a Jet Blue flight from Florida to Massachusetts helped save a French bulldog named Darcy.

It happened Thursday when the 3 year old dog started showing signs of distress. She was having difficulty breathing and her tongue began to turn blue. The crew came to the rescue with an oxygen mask for Darcy.

Pictures of the dog with a yellow oxygen mask, being treated for hypoxia are now going viral. Darcy’s owner Michelle Burt says she, “placed the mask over her face, and within a few minutes she became alert and after a short time she didn’t want the mask.” She also says she believes the crew members saved her dog’s life.

One of Burt’s friends, who apparently is a flight attendant shared Burt’s story to Facebook.
