Ikea tried to get creative with their latest coupon, but they may have taken things a bit too far…

According to CBS Los Angeles, the company’s new ad features a crib and the phrase “Peeing on this ad may change your life.”

Although some may think it’s a joke, it’s really not.

As it turns out, the ad is as an actual pregnancy test if you pee on it. Also, if you are pregnant, peeing on the ad will reveal a hidden coupon.

Unfortunately for Ikea, most were left with confusion after seeing the ad. While some could appreciate the free pregnancy test, the method of revealing the coupon is pretty gross. Many also couldn’t even believe the ad made it beyond the idea stage.
