After serving up vegan burgers at pop-up locations around Sacramento last year, Burger Patch will be opening a new, permanent location on 23rd and K st in Midtown, Sacramento. Owners, Phil and Danea Horn, began serving the vegan burgers as a quick and healthy way for customers to order a satisfying meal and still have the option to take it with them on the go.

According to the Sacramento Bee, the couple began with different pop-up shops for their burgers, after health issues arose with Danea that required them to switch to a vegan lifestyle. When their first and second attempts at serving their burgers was met with huge success, with customers waiting in line for more than three hours to try the vegan food, Phil and Danea began considering opening a more permanent location.

With no official opening date set yet for the vegan burger restaurant, the menu will still remain similar to what was served at the pop-up locations. The burger shop will offer vegan alternative versions of their burgers, vegan substitutions for bacon and chicken strips, and dairy-free, blended cashew shakes. Prices will range for $7 burgers to $5 shakes, with the shop not offering any alcoholic options.
