Over the weekend, a ‘Hollywood studio’ swooped in and outbid Lance Bass to buy the “Brady Bunch” house and we now know who it was.  HGTV said yesterday, they bought the house, and they’re going to, quote, “restore [it] to its 1970s glory as only HGTV can.”  Speculation is it will be part of  a show, but there are no details yet. They only said, “We’ll bring all the resources to bear to tell safe, fun stories with this beloved piece of American TV history.”

The house was only used for the exterior shots as the show was filmed on set. So, it’s unclear it they’ll try and replicate the set or just return it to what the home would have looked like in the 70s.

And, there’s no word on how much the house sold for. All we know is Lance reportedly offered around $3 million, more than a million over asking.
