Grumpy Cat won $710,000 in damages from a lawsuit filed back in 2015. Grumpy Cat Limited sued Grenade, a beverage company, for copyright infringement.

Back in 2013, Grumpy Cat made a deal with Grenade to launch a coffee  called “Grumpy Cat Grumppuccino.” Grenade then created a second line, “Grumpy Cat Roasted Coffee,” without permission, reports the Washington Post.

According to the lawsuit, Grenade made the second coffee line and also used Grumpy Cat’s image to sell T-shirts. Grumpy Cat Limited did not see any of those profits. Grenade also reportedly skimped out on sharing proceeds from the joint iced coffee venture. Grenade filed a countersuit, stating that Grumpy Cat did not hold up on her promo deal on TV and social media.

Grumpy Cat ended up winning the settlement.
