If you’ve tried to get a Covid test recently, you know how hard it’s been to find them! This might make it a little easier for people in Yolo County. Starting today, Yolo County will distribute free COVID-19 at-home test kits to residents who have tested positive for the virus in the past five days.

Those who have tested positive for COVID-19 can pick up free at-home test kits at a drive-thru in Woodland on Mondays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The drive-thru is located at the Woodland Health and Human Services building parking lot at 137 North Cottonwood St.

They will distribute on these days until they are out of test kits. The county said it has 5,000 kits to give out this month. Each test kit provided by Yolo County will contain 2 tests.

For more information, visit their COVID-19 Testing & Quarantine website for up to date information on these events. The CDC and the California Department of Public Health also offer additional resources on COVID-19.
