 California has $9.3 billion in unclaimed property and they want you to claim it!  The state is  urging California residents to go to THIS WEBSITE and claim your cash.

Where does this money come from?  It’s found in old bank accounts, un-cashed employee checks, stocks, bonds, and insurance benefits.  If it’s unclaimed for three years state law requires it to be transffered to the controller’s office.
