Family Photo Causes Wildfire in Rocklin | Amanda & Darik

It was a beautiful evening for a family walk, a beautiful sunset inspired a family in Rocklin to take a family photo. They gave the kids sparklers. That’s when the sunset family photo session went down in flames, literally!
KCRA reports, The sparklers started a wildfire at Boulder Ridge Park with flames 3-5 feet along the walking trails off Park Drive that link Rocklin and Lincoln. Thankfully the fire was contained within a half hour, no one was hurt and structures were damaged.
Rocklin police did not give the family a citation because they did not intentionally set the fire. It’s a good lesson before the Fourth of July. Our city is dry, please be careful!
