Although known for its rather crass humor, there are times when Family Guy can tone down the jokes and keep it real. The show laid Angela, voiced by Carrie Fisher, to rest on Sunday with a thoughtful eulogy.

Fisher played Angela, Peter Griffin’s boss at a brewery, since 2005, reports Entertainment Tonight. Two years after the actress’ death, the show writers wrote off her character with Griffin delivering a touching eulogy. Of course, the speech was speckled with references to one of Fisher’s most famous roles, Star Wars’ Princess Leia.

She may be gone, but her voice will live on in DVD and Hulu Plus, and tiny droid-projected messages. I may have lost a boss, but heaven has gained a princess.”

Well put.
