Instead Of A “Drive-Thru”, This Taco Bell Is Doing A “Slide-Thru”

Taco Bell announced a special, winter skiing event, where customers can ski down a hill into their “slide-thru” to pick up an order.

With the recent snow and cold weather, Taco Bell is looking to capitalize with their first “Slide-Thru”.

According to Delish, this new “slide-thru” take-out window is being made exclusively for people hitting the slopes. Customers can pickup their Taco Bell orders on their skis.

Taco Bell fans in Canada will be the lucky participants for the one-day-only event. On March 2, Horseshoe Resort in Ontario will host the fast-food/ski combo. The unique “slide-thru” will function as a special promotion, to celebrate the re-release of Taco Bell’s Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders. According to reports, customers are able to “place their orders at the top of a tubing hill, slide down, and grab their Cheetos Crunchwrap Slider from a custom-built take-out window at the bottom”.

In an official statement, Taco Bell Canada’s head of marketing Veronica Castillo described the appeal of the event. “This fan-favorite deserves a celebration that’s as audacious as the Crunchwrap itself, something wild and unexpected and has never been tried before.”

Taco Bell fans in the U.S. who are jealous of our northern neighbors may want to plan a ski/crunchwrap weekend trip.
