Sacramento’s first cantina-style Taco Bell restaurant will be opening this Wednesday, January 29. The 2,641-square-foot restaurant will be located at 900 K St., near the Golden 1 Center.

What you’ll find is an upscale version of the franchise but without a drive-thru. The Taco Bell Cantina is aimed primarily at millennial and college kids. Which means you will now be able to wash down your steak chalupas and Cool Ranch Doritos Locos tacos with draft beer or “Twisted Freezes,” the restaurant’s phrase for frozen cocktails.

Can’t wait until Wednesday? On Tuesday, Jan 28th, Taco Bell Cantina will be hosting a soft opening with a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club Sacramento.

“The fundraiser is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the entire menu available. Proceeds from meals purchased will go towards the Boys and Girls Club,” according to News 10.
