Who says Keeping Up With The Kardashians hasn’t done society any good?

According to TMZ, ex-NFL lineman Branden Albert was watching the show when he saw Kim Kardashian visit Alexandria House. For those who don’t know, Alexandria House is an L.A. shelter takes in homeless women with children.

However, the charity’s mission statement struck a chord with Albert. He had grown up in a single parent home, and his mom and aunt had to work multiple jobs to pay all the bills. This led him to donate $1,000,000 to the shelter, all in honor of his late mother.

A representative for the charity let TMZ know that the money is allowing them to buy a new complex that will help care for the hundreds of people that would have otherwise been turned away due to lack of space. They also said that they would have never been able to even consider doing it without the donation from Albert.

No matter what people might say about Keeping Up With The Kardashians, probably everyone can agree this was a great thing to come from it.
