Disney CEO Bob Iger Teases Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Opening Date!

If the CEO is to be believed…the countdown is officially on!

It’s always fun when you can get a CEO into an environment where they have to speak off the cuff. Every now ad then, cool information (intentionally or otherwise) slips out.

Disney CEO Bob Iger gave an interview to Barron’s and in it he said, according to Inside The Magic:

When Star Wars opens in Anaheim in June and in Florida later in the year, that’s adding capacity. You’re adding 14 acres of land [each], more rides, and more things for people to do. It’s the biggest land we’ve ever built.

The answer was in response to a totally different question about park capacity.

No official word on when Star Wars Land will open, but if the CEO is to be believed…the countdown is officially on!
