It looks like Demi Lovato might be stepping back in the music scene faster than many anticipated. The singer is reportedly already writing new songs following her recent exit from rehab.

Those close to Lovato want to make sure that she’s taking enough time to fully recover before jumping back in the spotlight. “Her entire team has made it 100 percent clear there’s zero pressure whatsoever in terms of her comeback,” a source disclosed to Radar Online.

However, it sounds like the 26-year-old isn’t beginning to jot down lyrics in order to speed up her return. As with many artists, songwriting is just therapeutic for her. “Demi finds singing and writing cathartic and has been writing a lot of her own material, which she wants to get in motion pretty quickly,” the insider continued.

Since her near-fatal overdose in July, Lovato has been making some changes in her life. She hopes that her new music will reflect her hopeful and positive outlook.
