Demi Lovato Calls Out ‘Cliquey’ And ‘Miserable’ Celebrity
Demi Lovato opened up about her experience at the 2016 Met Gala. She had such a horrible time that she went straight to an AA meeting following the event!

Demi Lovato revealed that she had the worst time at the 2016 Met Gala. It was so bad that she beelined straight to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting after the event!
In particular, Demi opened up about running into a certain celebrity that she couldn’t stand. She told Billboard:
“I had a terrible experience. This one celebrity was a complete b—h and was miserable to be around. It was very cliquey. I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink.”
Instead of going to the bottle, Demi got herself to an AA meeting at 10 p.m. afterwards:
“I changed my clothes, but I still had my diamonds on — millions of dollars of diamonds on in an AA meeting. And I related more to the homeless people in that meeting who struggled with the same struggles that I deal with than the people at the Met Gala — fake and sucking the fashion industry’s d–k.”
Although the pop star never revealed who the celebrity was, there’s a good chance it may have been rapper Nicki Minaj. Rumors spread that there was possible beef between Nicki and Demi at the time. Nicki posted a picture with herself, designer Jeremy Scott and Demi on Instagram without giving any mention to Demi. Demi then posted on Instagram herself, writing:
“This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met đŸ˜‚đŸ˜‚đŸ˜‚#cool#soawkward#notforme#sweatpants#forensicfiles#whatsgood p.s. some of y’all need to learn how to take a joke.. I’m obviously laughing at the fact that 1. I look incredibly awkward and 2. That the shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life”
