The official first trailer for Once Upon A Deadpool is out, and fans will be happy to see Ryan Reynolds back in his red suit. However, the trailer also stars a very familiar face for fans of the classic film, The Princess Bride.
According to Deadline, this upcoming film is a mutated version of Deadpool 2 which came out earlier this year. While the original had an R-rating, this new film will be PG-13 and hopes to bring in a younger audience during the holiday break. As Deadpool 2 was the biggest R-rated film of 2018, this version will have big shoes to fill.
In this debut trailer, Deadpool appears in a bedroom scene that pokes fun at the famous framing device in The Princess Bride. As Reynolds holds a story book, he talks with a bewildered Fred Savage who sits in a recreated room from the original movie.
