David Harbour To Join Scarlett Johansson In ‘Black Widow’ Movie

David Harbour, of ‘Stranger Things’, has been announced to be starring in the upcoming Disney Marvel movie, ‘Black Widow’.

David Harbour, star of Stranger Things, has been confirmed to be joining Scarlett Johansson in an upcoming Black Widow movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new Marvel film will be a stand-alone film focusing on Johanasson’s spy/super heroine character. The film is preparing for a June start of production, and is being directed by Cate Shortland. The Australian director is known for heading up the Nazi drama, Lore. The script for the Black Widow film is being created by Jac Schaeffer.

Plot details of the film are still being kept under wraps, but Black Widow will be set as a spy-themed adventure. The movie will follow Natasha Romanoff, an international spy and assassin who was raised up trained by the KGB, before eventually breaking their grip and joining SHIELD and the Avengers.

David Harbour joins Johanasson and actress Florence Pugh, as confirmed for this new film. No information about Harbour’s character has been released, but fans can expect new details about the film to release in the near future, as Disney and Marvel prepare for the next story-lines of their films.
