Darik spoke to Jack O’Brien a Boy Scout who has been motivating service in his community by making sure kids have backpacks and other school supplies during COVID-19.

Darik highlights the good deeds of Thomas Edison and the Sacramento Family Meal Program! They have been giving away meals to anyone 18 and under every day. They understand that hunger in the Sacramento area is at an all-time high and they have come together to help and support the community.

In honor of Memorial Day, Darik visits the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery to pay tribute to the men and women who have died while fighting for our freedom.

Due to the effect of COVID-19 local businesses have been suffering from closing down or lack of customers. For Darik’s Good Deed this week, he highlights Burger Patch, a local restaurant that is motivating service by donating 100% of its proceeds to other local Sacramento businesses.
