The holidays are going to be here before you know it. HOW are you going to pay for all that gift giving? Luckily for you, it’s a good year for a side hustle. Several companies are already starting to bulk up their staff for the peak shopping season.

UPS said they’re going to be adding 100,000 full and part-time temporary employees for the crucial holiday season beginning in November.

UPS rival, FedEx is set to bring on 55,000 for the online shopping boom.

Maybe you’d like to work somewhere that you can take advantage of their employee discount? Kohls expects to hire around 90,000 seasonal workers and will hold a hiring day at select stores on October 20. Target plans to bring on 120,000 employees and will pay $12 an hour. Macy’s plans to add 80,000 and J.C Penney announced it will add 65,000 workers for the holiday crunch. Meanwhile, Gap is looking to add 65,000 workers.

With so many jobs to fill, retailers are scrambling to hire temp workers. Additionally, the holiday season is expected to be huge and likely overwhelm the stores.
