The Citrus Heights woman who gained international attention after creating a tribute to Prince in her front yard has reinvented the mural. After weather destroyed the original work, which bloomed around Easter with a beautiful crown, Christine Stein has given it a once-over.
@ChristinesAArt is at it again! She created another beautiful #Prince mural after her last one got damaged due to the weather. While listening to his albums and talking to his fans, she was inspired to create another Prince masterpiece. @kcranews pic.twitter.com/OZh2JG0DQr

She tells KCRA that she got inspiration for the mural on social media saying, “I just kept on sketching and I kept on going back and forth and I ended up with a really beautiful mural at the end.”
The tribute by Stein originally went up in 2016, shortly after Prince’s death on April 21, 2016. Prince would have been 60 this year.
