Cirque du Soleil Returns to Sacramento!

Cirque du Soleil is returning to Sacramento next month, bringing “Corteo” to the Golden 1 Center Aug. 3 to 6.

The show, which has been running since 2005, follows a clown who is picturing his own funeral in a carnival atmosphere.

In a first for Cirque du Soleil, the stage will be central in the arena and will split the audience in half. This will provide “a unique perspective not only of the show, but also a performer’s eye view of the audience,” according to the news release.
