Circuit City Is Making A Comeback

How’s this for nostalgia. Nearly a decade after filing for bankruptcy, Circuit City is making a comeback… of sorts.

How’s this for nostalgia. Nearly a decade after filing for bankruptcy, Circuit City is making a comeback… of sorts. The electronics store which went out of business in 2009, will first relaunch online mid-February. The relaunched Circuit City will then look to expand to kiosks and ultimately showrooms. The company says its website will be supported by IBM Watson’s Artificial Intelligence, which will act as a personal shopper for customers who will also learn what interested each customer. The company’s CEO says its new approach is to “allow the products to find the consumers.”
