Scientists say the abandoned Chinese space station Tiangong-1 will most likely reenter the Earth’s atmosphere on Easter Sunday/April Fools Day.

The Chinese continue to refuse to acknowledge that they have no control of the space station. However, they lost contact with the falling station in March 2016. As far as anyone can tell, contact was never regained.

No one know exactly where where the station will come down, but your chances of getting hit by the space station when it falls back to earth are practically zero. The Earth is very big and you are very small, but also most of it will burn up as it reenters the atmosphere.

Scientists are keeping a close eye on the situation. The European Space Agency has Tiangong-1 updates HERE.

As far as April Fools Day pranks go, well played China.
