Celebrate Mardi Gras in Nevada City this Weekend!

It’s almost Fat Tuesday! Get your costume and some friends and head up to Nevada City this Sunday for a big Mardi Gras parade and Street Faire!
The Wild & Scenic Street Fair on N. Pine Street will be open from 12pm-4pm, you can find accessories for your perfect costume, plus shop for hand-made gifts, eco-vendors, masks, food, drinks, and more! The annual Mardi Gras Parade starts at 2pm on Broad Street. Everyone is encouraged to wear festive Mardi Gras attire and to let the good times roll! It’s not too late to sign up to be in the parade. For the first time, the Nevada City Mardi Gras Celebration and the Wild & Scenic Film Festival Fall on the same weekend! The theme of this year’s Mardi Gras celebration is aligned with the Film Festival to celebrate “CommUNITY”. Get all the details here!
