Quaden and his family were also accused of faking the entire thing, some even accusing the 9 year old of being 18, and an Instagram influencer.

You’ll recall the story of Quaden Bayles, the 9-year-old australian boy with a form of dwarfism, who was bullied to the point of wanting to kill himself.

His mother posted a now viral video online and the internet responded. Comedian Brad Williams arranged a GoFundMe to send Quaden and his family to Disneyland. That effort has raised near half a million dollars.

But – the family won’t be using the money to go to Disneyland, instead choosing to use the viral attention for good.

“We want the money to go to community organizations that really need it. They know what the money should be spent on, So as much as we want to go to Disneyland, I think our community would far off benefit from that,”

The family says the money would be going to Dwarfism Awareness Australia and Balunu Healing Foundation.”

You may remember that Quaden and his family were also accused of faking the entire thing, some even accusing the 9 year old of being 18, and an Instagram influencer. Those claims have since been proven false.

Personally, bravo to the family for diverting the funds into charities…but that kid still deserves a Disneyland trip. Can we make this happen?
