Build-A-Bear-Workshop shut down their “Pay Your Age Day” deal citing “safety concerns,” according to the company’s website.

“Per local authorities, we cannot accept additional Guests at our U.S. Build-A-Bear Workshop locations due to crowd and safety concerns. We have closed lines in our U.S. stores. We understand some of our Guests are disappointed and we will reach out directly as soon as possible,” the company said.

Long lines of parents and kids wrapped through malls and streets this morning for the best deal Build-A-Bear Workshops has ever offered.

Customers are reportedly being given $15 vouchers for their next visit to Build-A-Bear, who is also expected to contact customers through their email.
