Big Rigs Line Up To Stop Suicidal Man [VIDEO]

It seems like we get a notification every day here at the station that there is a jumper on an overpass. So, you can imagine how many calls police get.
Police in Michigan dealt with this the other night, and got truck drivers to help out! The drivers, 13 in all, lined up under the overpass to to make the fall safer if the man did decide to jump.
Thankfully, this story has a happy ending. After a 4 hour negotiation the man came down off the overpass and is being cared for by medical professionals.

Michigan State Police organized a unique way to help a man who was threatening suicide on a highway overpass: They summoned a group of semi truck drivers to help shorten the fall if he were to have jumped.
