Big Day of Giving 2022

By tsutter on May 4, 2022

You can help your community thrive! After two years that have brought tremendous hardship to so many in the Sacramento region, this year’s Big Day of Giving is an opportunity to rally around the organizations that make our area strong and that need our support. Thank you for being a part of this movement for good. Thank you for taking action.

Word-of-mouth is powerful! When you share that you’re supporting local nonprofits during Big Day of Giving, you help those organizations reach new audiences and spread their missions!

Each child benefits from a custom course of care designed by an expert medical team focused on a single goal – transforming the lives of children. Contributions to Shriners Children’s Northern California assure we can continue to provide advanced specialty healthcare, conduct innovative research and educate future generations of caregivers.

  • NorCal Bully Breed Rescue
    • NorCal Bully Breed Rescue (NBBR) was founded in 2013 and in the last five years has rescued over 600 dogs. The rescue focuses on medically compromised in the shelter system but also takes in owner surrenders, strays and some healthy dogs from shelters. NBBR has put a community emphasis on promoting responsible ownership of bully breeds, fighting against breed discrimination, spaying and neutering pets, reporting dog fighting and demonstrating to the community that bully breeds are loyal, loving and wonderful forever companions. Throughout the years, they have striven to educate the public on what a wonderful breed these dogs truly are.
