Beyonce’s BeyGood Releases COVID-19 Relief Plan

According to a Billboard article, Beyonce’s BeyGOOD foundation announced that they will help with a Coronavirus relief plan to help those most affected by the global pandemic. “Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD recognizes the immense mental and personal health burdens being placed on essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. In our major cities, African-Americans comprise a disproportionate number of workers in these indispensable occupations, and they will need mental health support and personal wellness care, including testing and medical services, food supplies and food deliveries, both during and after the crisis” the foundation shared on Beyonce’s website.
BeyGOOD will commit $6 million dollars to mental health and wellness services with help from partners at UCLA & Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey’s initiative! The foundation will also work with cities such as Houston and New York to support mental health in a time like this.
