This Beer Was Named Best Summer Beer In California

“You may weep upon tasting its perfection.”

Firestone Walker beer, Pivlo Pils, has just been named the best brew in California, at least according to Popular Mechanics, who just released its list of the best summer beer in in every state.

The judges had high praise for the Pivo Pils from Paso Robles, which they called,

“Possibly the best pilsner in the world,” saying, “You may weep upon tasting its perfection.”

Firestone Walker is no stranger to awards. Its Pivo Pils won bronze in the Great American Beer Festival in October and has won several golds in the past.

If you can’t get your hands on that, or don’t want to weep at your next bar-b-q, you can try the runners-up which are Sierra Nevada’s Kellerweis and Alpine’s Hoppy Birthday Session IPA.
