Yet another super-charged storm is chugging it way across California, drenching Sacramento and dumping several feet of snow in the Sierra.

According the the National Weather Service, Sacramento could see 1″-3″ of rain, while the Sierra can expect up to 4 feet of snow at the highest elevations from the “atmospheric river” that is carrying moisture in all the way from Hawaii.

The “pineapple express” is expected to slowy move in late Tuesday and last several days.

After this storm exits, it doesn’t look like we’re going to get any more big storms,” Matt Mehle, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service to SFGATE. “At least that’s what the models are showing. Maybe some passing showers but nothing big.”

While this could be the biggest storm Southern California sees this season, that’s not necessarily the case for NorCal.
