April The Giraffe Is Pregnant – Again!
The average giraffe pregnancy lasts 15 months

April, the 16-year-old giraffe who captivated the world last year with her pregnancy that seemed like it would never end, is pregnant again!
At one point last year, more than 200 million people were live streaming the feed into April’s cage at the Animal Adventure Park in New York. Eventually she gave birth to a baby giraffe named Tajiri.
The Animal Adventure Park in New York just made the announcement on the TODAY SHOW this morning and believe she’s only a couple of months along. So, if you’re hoping to watch the newly reinstated giraffe cam, you’re going to have to wait a while for all the baby drama. The average giraffe pregnancy lasts 15 months, but can last as long as 19 months. (And we thought 9 months was long!)
