Abby Lee Miller is returning to Dance Moms for season 8 despite battling cancer. Hopefully this means that she’s doing better!
The reality TV star has suffered through some tough years recently. In July 2017, she was sentenced to 366 days in prison for fraud. She left the prison in March to serve the rest of her sentence in a halfway house. Then, in April, Miller was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma and has been receiving treatment.

Sources told Entertainment Tonight that she’s expected to return to Dance Moms despite everything. The casting call on the show’s website confirms the news.
“Abby Lee Miller has launched some of the most successful careers of this generation!” reads the posting. “She is currently casting NEW talent for Dance Moms. Does your daughter/son outshine their competition? Are they destined for greatness? Would they love the opportunity to train and compete as a member of ALDC? This could be the fast-track to stardom your kid deserves!”
