A Cooking Competition Show is Filming in Sacramento!

We’ve been enjoying it for years and now, Sacramento’s Farm to Fork food scene is about to get some national exposure! Crews have been spotted around town recently, filming local chefs doing what they do best…cooking up delicious dishes, for a new cooking competition show, “Plate It, Sacramento”
“Plate It, Sacramento!” will be a “Chopped” style competition, with local high-profile chefs putting their spin on a recipe, using locally sourced ingredients.
You’ll be able to watch “Plate It, Sacramento” on the Very Local app for Roku or your smart tv. All content streams for free. Find out more about Very Local here.
In addition to the cooking competition, there will be a Sacramento version of “Eat Play Stay,” which will look at local getaways, and “Maddy & Dixie Take Sactown,” where local social media bloggers offer their takes on local offerings.
