72-Hour Fare Sale: Southwest Flights As Low As $49 Each Way

Deal hunters, this is for you! Southwest Airline’s just announced its blockbuster, twice a year fare sale. Roundtrip fares are now below $100 on dozens of the airline’s shortest routes. You can find flights as low as $49 each way on Southwest’s shortest routes and ranging from $79, $99 to $129 each way on longer flights. The most you’ll pay during the sale appears to be $154 each way.
The 72 hour sale just launched this morning and is for travel from Oct. 31st through Dec. 19th and again from Jan. 3rd through Feb. 14th. But, and it’s a big BUT, flights on Fridays and Sundays are excluded from the sale.
