This is shocking! Especially shocking if it applies to Sacramento!! But, according to a new survey reported by Fox News, Americans aren’t well traveled, even in their own cities! 25% of us haven’t even been bothered to visit the iconic landmarks in our own cities. So here, that’d be the Capitol Building, Tower Bridge and Old Sacramento… right?

That means, one-in-four people in New York have never been to the Empire State Building and one-in-four people in San Francisco have never visited the Golden Gate Bridge. Really!?

The same survey also finds the Top 10 sights in the U.S. that are on our bucket lists. They are:

  1. Grand Canyon
  2. Yellowstone National Park
  3. Statue of Liberty
  4. Mount Rushmore
  5. Empire State Building
  6. One World Trade Center
  7. Golden Gate Bridge
  8. New York Aquarium
  9. Space Needle
  10. Gettysburg National Military Park
