WOW!! Really!? Is this for real? A new global survey has revealed that one in every 50 travelers has met the love of their life on a plane. They asked more than 5,000 travelers around the world about their travel experiences and whether they’d made any meaningful connections mid-flight. The survey found 16% of people said they’d made a business connection on a flight, while 14% said they made long-lasting friendships with someone they met while flying. But, I guess when you think about it, it’s a littel less surprising when we figure about half of us say we’ve sparked a conversation with a stranger on a flight.

Want to increase your odds of making a love connection on your next flight? Lots of apps (of course) can help. The app btrfly connects you with other travelers when you enter your travel information. And the app  Planely is like a social network in the air, which lets you connect with other travelers who have similar interests in the air or in the airport!
