It looks like the upcoming Woody Allen film, A Rainy Day in New York, may never release.

During the filming, sexual assault accusations resurfaced from a case in 1992 by his then-adoptive seven-year-old daughter, Dylan Farrow. The claims came in line with the Me Too Movement late last year.

After the news spread, many of the cast opted to donate their salaries from the film to nonprofit organizations. The two main stars, Selena Gomez and Timothée Chalamet, both expressed regret working with Allen. Chalamet also opted to give his profits from the movie to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund, with Gomez following suit.

Amazon Studios originally signed a five-film contract with Allen in 2016, reports The Guardian. However, no release date for A Rainy Day in New York has been set.

The official reason for the film’s hold up hasn’t been shared. But it may be safe to assume that the sexual assault allegations are playing a huge role in that decision. Not to mention the fact that there’s reportedly a sex scene in the movie between Jude Law’s 44-year-old character and Elle Fanning’s 15-year-old one.

Amazon Studios may be losing out on around $25 million for shelving the project.
