Woman’s Mugshot Leads To New Career In Makeup Tutorials

This is not something you hear every day! I mean, when does an arrest lead to a job opportunity? Well, it happened for 19-year-old Marshala Perkins of Commerce, Texas. She was arrested back in February for marijuana possession, but we’re just now hearing about it after her mugshot went viral… because her makeup is on fleek!

Marshala is an aspiring makeup artist, and right before she got arrested, she’d been doing a demo on Facebook Live for some friends. Well, after her mugshot went viral, she kept getting tweets from people asking her for makeup tutorials. Well, she’s turning that into a business. Marshala is taking private clients and has launched an Instagram account and a YouTube channel to capitalize on her new fame in the makeup world. CRAZY!
