First of all, pouring anything on anyone ever is not cool. Don’t do it, point blank. There have been chemical attacks, and you never know how people will react. Water, bleach, acid, powder, doesn’t matter – don’t pour things onto people. Ok, now that that’s out of the way.

A woman has been attacking men she accuses of “manspreading.” When guys sit and their legs open up, spreading apart. The woman claims to be a law school student, and she says that manspreading is “the manifestations of you declaring your macho qualities on public transportation.” It’s “gender aggression” and a “disgusting act,” she says, and it needs to stop. Her solution is to pour bleach onto the crotches of men she sees “manspreading” on public transportation. She says her mixture, which is a “mix of 30 litres of water and six litres of bleach,” is “30 times more concentrated than the mixture used by housewives when doing the laundry.” The mixture “eats colours in the fabric in a matter of minutes – leaving indelible stains.”

But wait – there’s video!

Ok, we’re obviously going to call this a fake video for the purpose of getting attention to the topic. The same woman, known as Anna Dovgalyuk, also appeared in a video about some “upskirting” laws Russia has. In that video, she lifted her skirt, exposing her underwear in effort to raise awareness. Back to the bleach video – she’s been called out by many online viewers. She says that she’s really doing this, and that she doubts anyone would “go to the police to file a report about jeans.” See some more information on Anna and her bleach here.
