Everyone is talking about the Cambridge Analytica/Facebook data breach. In fact, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was on Capitol Hill today testifying about this very thing during a rare joint congressional hearing.

Many users woke up to a notification that either they, or their friends were compromised by the “Your Digital Life” survey at the heart of this entire thing.

For example, mine says:

“Based on our investigation, you don’t appear to have logged into “This Is Your Digital Life” with Facebook before we removed it from our platform in 2015.

However, a friend of yours did log in.
As a result, the following information was likely shared with “This Is Your Digital Life”:

  • Your public profile, Page likes, birthday and current city.”

You’re probably wondering if you were compromised. Facebook has put up a handy help page with that very info.
