Wallet Hub Ranks Sacramento As A Great Place To Stick To A Healthy Lifestyle

A national survey by Wallet Hub ranks Sacramento as a great place to stick to an active lifestyle!

Sacramento ranked 13th overall on WalletHub’s 2018 list of “Best & Worst Cities for an Active Lifestyle.” The Capitol City was number one in several categories including, bike-sharing program, skateboard parks per capita, and proximity to a major lake or ocean.

We ranked in the top 10 in sports clubs per capita, Little Leagues per 100,000 residents, weather, presence in Fitbit’s “Fittest Cities in America” ranking, bike score and playgrounds per capita. Chicago ranked number 1 overall.

Two other California cities scored higher than Sacramento. San Francisco ranked 3rd and San Diego ranked 4th. On the other end of the scale, it was Hialeah, Florida who brought up the rear with the lowest ranking of the top 100 cities.
