Two Sacramento Men Arrested For Their Ridiculous Attempt To Forge Their License Plate Sticker

Two Sacramento men were arrested in Vacaville last week after they were pulled over for their ridiculous attempt to forge a registration tag on their license plate.

Police pulled them over after noticing two strips of blue tape in the upper right hand corner of the plate with the number 19 sloppily scribbled on it in black marker. The Sacramento Bee reports that a search of the vehicle also revealed around $3,000 worth of high end baseball gloves that police believe were stolen from the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Fairfield.

Vacaville police have identified the two men in a Facebook post as Joseph Seeger and Travis Quigley of Sacramento. The pair were both on probation and had suspended driver’s licenses.

Vacaville police are charging the men with burglary, possession of stolen property and violation of their probation. Oh, and being dumb in public. Although, they did get one thing right, the 2019 registration tags are blue.
