Sears Closing: Liquidation Sales Start Soon In Citrus Heights And Roseville

Sacramento is taking a hit!

Two local Sears stores are on the growing list of upcoming closures. The stores at Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights and the Westfield Galleria at Roseville are slated to be shuttered this summer.

According to government filings, the company is terminating the leases on nine store in California, Nevada, Iowa and Illinois. The stores will close in July. Meanwhile, liquidation sales will begin on April 27 at most stores.

The Arden Fair store is expected to remain open as well as the one in south Sacramento on Florin Road.

Here’s the list of closing Sears stores so far, according to Business Insider:
