Scandinavian Designs Is Opening A New Location In Elk Grove

The store will be moving into a soon to be vacated Toys R Us.

The Peteluma-based company will be moving into the soon to be vacated Toys R Us location on Bond Road. The Elk Grove Toys R Us location is expected to close at the end of the month, according to The Sacramento Bee.

Buzzfeed has compared Scandinavian Designs to Ikea, saying it’s a grown up version. While the prices are higher, they run frequent clearance sales with big discounts. Currently there is no target opening date for Scandinavian Designs in Elk Grove.

They do have two locations in the Sacramento area, one in Fair Oaks and one in Rocklin.
